Hause Bright Philosophy: A German Style Kennel in the USA

Hause Bright is a VERY proud active member of the ADRK! In addition to shouldering the responsibility for maintaining the breed and its integrity in Germany, the ADRK serves as the breed warden for the Rottweiler throughout the world. Having lived in Germany for over four years, we have participated in the dedication and commitment to the Rottweiler that the German people emanate. In Germany, your Rottweiler is more than a pet, it is a working partner and a TRUE member of the household. The Rottweiler is welcome on the streets, in restaurants, on the train, and in friend’s homes. In Germany, the Rottweiler is truly man’s best friend.

The German Breeding System utilizes four distinct and irreplaceable components to quantify, compare, and assess the Rottweiler to yield the highest quality dog possible. 1.) By utilizing the Ztp/BST (Breed Standard Test); 2.) the Dogbase software for mating selection; 3.) Schutzhund; and 4.) the Korung titles to define and select the best TEMPERAMENT, the German System for breeding has become an unrivaled system of identifying and promoting the absolute BEST breeding candidates. It has been this system that has allow the ADRK to continue to make strides in the advancement and betterment of the all-around Rottweiler. It goes without saying that the German commitment to schutzhund as a sport and as a true temperament test for the working ability of the dog is unparalleled! Being home to both the German Shephard Dog and the Rottweiler, Deutschland (as the Germans call it) is the motherland of Schutzhund, and their commitment to the sport is unmatched throughout the world.

Hause Bright Rottweilers is a piece of Deutschland right here in the United States. We have returned home to the Unites States and are completely utilizing the German style system of breeding selection in our breeding program. As full participants in the German System of breeding there are certain principles that we will continue to uphold:

· We will NEVER breed our females to a stud that does not have a Ztp/BST.

· All of our proposed breedings are analyzed through the Dogbase program and have strong results.

· All of our dogs participate in the sport of schutzhund.

· Our lines are centered around dogs that have achieved many prestigious titles including the Korung.

· We will NEVER breed to a dog that we have not seen in person.

· 100% of dogs in our pedigrees are ADRK German Rottweilers, not other European lines

· No dog without the proper health clearances will be shown, worked, or bred by Hause Bright

All of our dogs are very well socialized with people and other animals. They have grown up with our family and are full fledged members of our household. We breed sparingly and primarily for ourselves. Occasionally we have puppies to offer to individuals seeking the highest quality German born and/or German line Rottweilers. Our adult Rottweilers and Rottweiler puppies are sired by only top show AND working German Rottweilers. As we still have many friends in Germany and are active members in the ADRK and BG Speicher, we can also offer assistance to individuals who desire to import Rottweilers straight from Germany. However, it is the expressed desire of Hause Bright Rottweilers to one day make importing a dog completely unnecessary as we are a German style kennel right here in the United States.
